Uhmm yea you can sandblast it off. Old chrome flakes of easily.
BUT if you really wanted to keep the chrome. You can use Aluminum Foil to clean chrome up. Just wet it down a bit and then apply the aluminum foil...
Thanks for the comments!! The customer was estatic with the final and instantly hopped on the bike and rode around on it for a bit. So OUT OF COURTESY for their safety Im going to provide them with a NEW FORK!!

Forks were bent to begin with. But I liked how it added flow to the overall frame. And the bike wasn't built to ride it's more of a showroom piece. One of those "Id like a real nice bike in my office" type of orders.. But yeah I could always grab another fork if the customer wants to ride it.
