Crossing fingers!!! I won't be TOTALLY bummed if it fails, but it would be nice if it works! If it fails, maybe it will at least LOOK old!

You remember well! I had intended to weather the new paint, but several well-respected members convinced me to leave the new stuff new! I even treated the rusty stuff with the Dupli-Color Rust Fix so it looked old-but-not-rusty...like it was well cared for through its life!

Just couldn't help myself! Tinkered with ElgIndian a bit today...more just staring at it and thinking next steps.

I decided that tonight's the big night...headbadge time!!! I did a quick buff with a fine scotchbrite pad, contoured the piece with a socket and a vice, trial fit, then it was to the studio!!

And while I'm here, I got the "B" and "C" on the number panel...

Going to se what I can get accomplished tomorrow afternoon...before the kiddos get here for the evening!!

BTW...here's my best half with the kiddos at storytime...
