Western Flyer help

Picked this up, it's had a total repaint.

Any idea what year? Headbadge is screwed on, any chance it isn't really a western flyer?


All the stampings are covered in the repaint, so best guesses will be good.

I believe it is genuine. Postwar WF badge on a Huffman-built frame. Circa 1949 is my best guess. Chainring may be a replacement...or not.

I agree, Huffman made Western Flyer. The serial number should be a number followed by an H, ex: 4Hxxxxxx would be 54, 5Hxxxxxx would be 1955 etc.

Looks to be in good shape. Nice pick!
