A workaround for chainline issues?
Combine it with 2 same size front chainrings.
Or, five chainrings and five chains.
...just in case this guy shows up...
I’d seen one like that built for mountain bike Singlespeed World Championships. I think it was about being eligible while keeping sponsorship commitments.
Why are the rows of teeth offset? Does this work with a rear derailleur as a tensioner and yeild 5 equal gears? Could this run with std. 2x or 3x front chainrings to equal a 3 speed? Interesting.
The first one is 6 speed and the second one is five speed.
The one I'd seen was probably loose cogs spaces onto a free hub, not a freewheel.
All 5 riders have the same gear ratio.
This is the funniest post yet.
That'll be for a Class 2 bike then? Remember, it has to be "ridable".
