Here's a lil tiger I bought my son yesterday. Spent all morning removing as much rust from the chrome as I could, redoing the whitewall paint, and repairing rips in the seat.

Thank you BLWNMNY!I figured Im looking at a Typhoon right now and I guess the kickstand tube was cut off.I heard some Schwinns came without the brazed tube and just had bolt ons.

My Hornet I picked up recently. I major need of serious TLC. May start life over as a motorized cafe' racer replica. Got a customer wanting one built, I think this may be a good donor for that project.

I like riding this around on weekends, it's a conversation starter, and it's 10 MPH cruising speed is relaxing. It was a 1964 Typhoon originally. Everybody asks me if it's "really" old or just a reproduction.

Just found this over the weekend at a local yard sale. The bike is nice and crusty. Doesn't look like it has seen any love in decades. I'm planning to sell it but I'm not sure if it would sell better as-is? Or to wipe it down with BLO, repack the bearings, fresh tires, and seat?? What do you guys think?? Part of me wants the fun of seeing what it could look like after. But since it's not a keeper?? BTW. just joined this forum and Hey!, from Houston
