It is mine, my nickle/gold one got stolen so this is my replacement.

Well it is just a thing, and things can be replaced. I don't want to feel to tethered to things and my character being moored to them too deeply that when gone I will not still be me.

That makes sense, but it sucks regardless. I guess, in the end, the thief has defined his/herself by that bike more than you have. You're still a rider no matter what, but the thief is a thief until such time that s/he can redeem his/herself.

Renthal bars, bear traps, Odyssey chainring, and some other do-dads.....but it has changed a bit since (29" disk front end). Rides like a BMX!

It's not a 26", it's a 24" Huffy Good Vibrations, but I think it's in the spirit of this thread. Chain guard is from a no-name 26" skinny-tire bike and cut down to fit. Trying to decide about handgrip color: Green? Orange? Black? Probably will add a layback seat post to improve ergonomics.
