I'm trippin' out on that bike. Reason being, at first glance it looked like a 1st gen/non-gussetted Laguna. But then I realized it has an S&S Newport rear triangle.

The Newports came in 2 different styles, one had a straight downtube like yours, and the other had a curved downtube.

I believe they were manufactured at the same place. My guess is that this cruiser is a 1980 S&S Newport stickered as a Laguna. Kinda cool! 8)

Kind of a cool story with this find. About 5 years ago I spotted a guy riding this to work. I flagged him down ,he didn't want to sell. He is a waiter at a local restaurant, I asked him a few times about it, no sell, but he did take my number. Fast forward about 3 years, out of the blue he sends me a text asking if I still wanna buy it!!
