also, i wasnt really diggin the Flightliner Troxel on this build....
i love that seat(i have 2) but its just not right here.
found this on ebay about a month ago...a little too much money...like $70 plus shipping.
he relisted this morning for $50 + free shipping so i had to splurge. its perfect!!!!

its is wicked long, huh.
tony has one that is the right length. not sure if i can do $30 for it though.
ugh. i really hope she likes this bike. i have spent so much money and time on it. way more than any of mine.

got fork today from tony.
gotta find a close duplicolor match for the silver.
the saddle has not come!
gotta figure out the battery situation for the rear light.
i am headed to radio shack to try and get a switched 9V battery holder.
if they dont have one, maybe i can get a not switched and add a switch.
i really need to finish this thing before the weekend is out.
GF is going to Auburn for Xmas, i am going to Wilmington, NC. i leave tuesday.

its now gone!
sanded down the tank a bit to get some roughness in that powdercoat.
repainted the tank and rack the charcoal metallic to match the fenders.
painted the chainguard the charcoal too.
got the fork painted. matches pretty close.
its after 10 pm, i am on the front porch starting to clearcoat things while GF is out doing secret santa with her girls.
miller high life is keepin me goin.
got the rear tail light situation worked out nicely. will post photos tomorrow.
everything is starting to come together.
hopefully the saddle and headbadge will come monday. thats my drop dead date. GF will be at work though and i have off.
should be able to get it 100% done by then.
tomorrow am i pick up my BFK!
