'58 Kaptein Mobylette Super

Been fixing up this old moped.
It had rust in the tank and has since been derusted and recoated with airplane fueltank sealer.
Its a 50cc engine with auto clutch and autogearing.
The tins are all painted black too and will get a gold outline around the pressed shapes.

That's a Motobecane Mobylette! I had a 1968 and that thing was good for nearly 50mph. Very very quick for a moped. And what an awesome engine on it. Great scooter!

It is infact a Motobecane, Kaptein was the dutch bloke/company who made them streetlegal (speedlimit of 50 kmph) for the dutch market after they where imported from france.
