oh heck yes...
haven't had much time to play with old bikes in the last couple years, but helping my daughter look for dorm furniture at yard sales I came across this. if I read the serial number right, it's a '72. the fenders even had the original hardware still attached. i swapped the S-7s for a nicer pair of S-7s, complete with knobbies, that I had on an old derelict late 70s Tornado, added a longer seat post I had around, and switched the bars for a pair off a Black Friday Krate (I HATE them, but they're temporary till I find something better that's a little taller than the original Junior bars). Looks ratty but rides nice.
I'm particularly stoked because although I have a Ross Apollo, a few other off-brand muscle bikes, and three Black Friday Krates, this is my first vintage Stingray.
