Who knows about 26" UKAI rims?

These are 26" UKAIs. They seem to be late 79/early 80 rims, based on the bike they came off of. Any idea if UKAI actually used this font/lettering in their early days?

Those are totally cool. I have seen the lettering like that before, but i couldnt tell you if they did that factory.

if i remember correctly, back in the 80's most of my production bmx rims were araya.
at some point in time, i believe they started using the cheaper ukai rims.

from what i remember, they were very disapointing. poor quality heavy and weak, not a very good combination.(mind you, these were chromed steel rims-with a stamped on name)

Been there and looked at their wheels. The strange thing is the UKAI font/lettering. Completely different than what I know of UKAI and have seen.
