Well I went with a buddy of mine a while back out to the country and we had a gun shooting day, had a blast...
Anyway before we left I was offered all the apples I could pick so I got a load of them, ate quite a few but still had a lot of them left to use up. Since fall is pretty much here I figured I'd make my first batch of apple cider of the season and boy it was GOOD! I figured I'd share my recipe.
Lazy Man's Apple Cider (Makes 2-3 tall glass servings)
1. Cut up 6-8 Apples, green, red, yellow doesn't matter
2. place in a blender with one tall glass of water and blend till they are well ground up
3. strain the liquid off (can be poured through a cloth, strainer, or however)
4. pour the liquid back into the blender
5. Add a generous sprinkle of Cinnamon (About 2 tablespoons more or less to taste)
6. Add about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of brown sugar (more or less to taste)
7. Blend till well mixed
8. pour over ice and enjoy!
