Im looking to start another project bike and the frame has about 4 3/4" of clearance in the rear for a rim/tire.
I know Nirve and Electra offer 24x3.0, but does anyone know of any other companies that offer wider? Possibly a 24x4.0 ?
Thanks in advance.

I really like the company-felt..24x3......BUT they are hard to get

just checked kenda..3 different 24"X3" tires...10 bucks each. was updated on 4-25-07 though...

Sam at Firebikes is the only place I know of that has 24X4s, they're kinda spendy but he's the only one that has them. Here's the link http://www.firebikes.com/shopping.htm# look under componants...Kelly

i think the best if the felt wheel and tire combo by far. it is still somewhat practical to actually ride and the quality is second to none. that is a felt wheel i used on the back of the jc higgins kustom i did.
