I have never before run into a contraption like this. Says it is a Radial Gear 9 Speed. When you push/pull the shift lever, it somehow stops the front chainring (nylon) and the parts that drive the chain then move in in slots (smaller diameter) or out (larger diameter). If that isn't weird enough, the back rim has a v pulley built on the side and a steel cable runs in it. When you pull the brake lever the cable tighens up in the pulley and stops the bike (at least in theory). If anyone has any info on this bike I hope you will share it. Thanks.

the only problem is the peg that drops into the inner sprocket to expand the drive ring too often broke the inner sprocket because it was made out of plastic. that was the case with mine. it also had that weird rim brake on the back. . . there was an extra piece of rim sticking out on the left side of the rear wheel with a kevlar-covered cable that ran around the diameter of the rim. that was your rear brake.
