western auto ??? flyer

I bought western auto bike the other day. It has the tail light on the rack "flight deck" and the two light tank. the frame is chromed and there is a funky hubcapped looking thing on the front chain ring. Is that the Cosmic flyer or the sonic flyer?

If it has a hubcap on the sprocket, it's probably their version of the Spaceliner. What WA called it, I don't know. ~Adam

No chainguard? It might be a Galaxy Flyer.

Chain guard just says western flyer. the name was up on the tank on both sides but the paint is rough and you cant read it. I'll try to put pics up this weekend.

look froward to the picts. from the sounds of it, sounds like a murray built western flyer (sold thru western auto supply stores back in the day), although i think there were huffy built flyers as well. sounds really cool.

Like this? This is our WF "Strato Flyer" It's missing the 360 dome warning flasher light thing in the rack though.
