Wards Hawthorne serial number date identification

I recently purchased a skip tooth Wards Hawthorne bike but don’t know what year it is. Could someone with that knowledge please give me a hand in finding out what year it is. The serial number is as follows: G60694.

Looks just like Coppertooth, even the same chain guard I got it with. Just the handlebars are different and less curve in the downtube. 1946. Coppertooth was a J number so it was early 47, G is mid 1946.
