Vintage Redline BMX Chainring Polish Job.

I found a Vintage Aluminum Redline 46 Tooth Chainring at a Bike Shop
in Washington State,

They sell for about 50.00 to 100.00 on E bay in good Condition.
This one was Thrashed...Like Bottom of the Ocean Aluminum Finish
THRASHED.

I wet sanded with 300...then 600...then 1200,
Then Murray let me have at er on his Bench Polisher.

after an Hour of Polishing I ended up with a Pretty nice Chainring
Vintage early 80's BMX.
I mounted a set of Chromoly Powerlite Crank Arms,
and this will be the New Set up on The 26 inch Skull Skates Cruiser.

I sprung for a Brand New set of Redline Flight Cranks too
:shock: :shock: :shock: $$$$ Cha Ching!
and a very cool set of DX Pedals in Great Shape.
The Skuller Drive Line has never looked better,

GT Bought out Dyno..as well as Profile...as well as Patterson..

They Gobbled up everything for a while.
So being yours is a Dyno..any Old School Profile Cranks( $$$$ Cha Ching $$$ )
or Old School GT set up would look killer on that.

I know my bike was built in 1997...not sure where that puts it on the sell out calendar.

Mine is running a 3 piece crank I think.

Yours is a 2 Piec Crank..

most of our Vintages are one Piece Cranks..

and My redline Line set up is a 3 Piece.

Yours has the Driveline Crank set up and Crank arm all conected,
with the Ugly side as the Second Piece,
