VINTAGE BIKE GATHERING

Bicycle Exchange in old downtown Carrollton is hosting a vintage bike get together
on May 16th at 2:00pm in the new parking lot across the street from their shop.

This isn't a swap meet or an organized bike show, just an opportunity for folks who
enjoy vintage bikes of any kind to show up, talk bikes, show off their rides and cruise
around the square.

Cruisers, Balloon Tire Bikes, Muscle Bikes, Vintage BMX, Vintage Road, Vintage MTB,
Custom Bikes, Rat Rods, you name it....it's all welcomed.

Not a bad turn out for the first gathering at Bicycle Exchange.

Saw several folks I knew including Scott McCaskey (owner of The CABE) along with Kevin Murphy (KevinM) and Mitch P.

Stepchild was there along with a few other forum members. My only complaint was the HEAT! (85 degrees)

Only 85?! It must have been the humidity b/c it sure felt warmer than that. :? I had a great time despite the warmth and we even got away w/o the predicted rain hitting us. I look forward to doing it again, perhaps we need to throw in a cruise as well! 8)

I think it was also the fact that there was no wind and we were standing on cement the whole time in full sun.

It felt more like 95 to me. :shock: :shock:
