Unknown Taillights: cool discovery

posted this a few weeks ago hoping to get them ID'd. No luck.
Definitely old. Glass lens. Nickel bezel. Generator powered. Nice copper electrics. I thought the shells were painted steel. Turns out they're solid brass. Stoked.

Thanks for the reply. never considered that. Still think they're bike or motorcycle.

You are probably right, I haven't seen anything like them.

If it was marine, that would be a portside light and that would mean there's probably a matching green somewhere in spacetime for starboard, but it doesn't look marine to me.

After weeks of searching I just found this listing on eBay for Dutch made Philips lights. Was listed as motorcycle light.
