I was afraid I might run out of bikes so I picked up some more today!
one never made it home it was a minty powder blue Ross womens 10 speed but it was a cheapie so I let it go cheap
here is a pretty nice late 70s Schwinn World Sport and a fair 87ish Schwinn Sprint nice flippers

these were about to die and go to Bicycle heaven
they were at the county landfill
Luckily a friend of mine runs the Scale house and sets bikes aside for me
the crusher is scheduled for Thursday so these were facing eminent death!

I volunteer at a bike co-op at my school, and everybody loves baskets. They hold all sorts of good stuff. Namely six of your favorite beverage.
I've probably told you this before, but whatever school you live near has it made. You find (often discarded) bikes, make them solid, and sell them. Considering your starting prices on theBay, they probably aren't expensive. Props.

picked up a nice sky blue Breeze deluxe and a nice collegiate with the dreaded nasty gumwalls
they should both clean up super nice! the paint and chrome are pretty spotless

yea I hate those tires when they do that
but at $8 a pair for the bikes I couldn't leave them behind... besides I wouldn't want to run out of bikes around here!

I have never had a single speed one of these but I would have thought they wouldnt have been put on a single speed bike
maybe it was converted years ago but it all looks original to me
