Found this freebie today. Can anyone identify this one. I guess I'll add it to the growing collection.

Opposite side photo would be better, could be a Murray or a Snyder. If the rear dropout fender mount is slotted, Snyder.

Murray and Snyder both supplied bikes for "J. C. Higgins" (Sears, post WW2) .

Truss rods and front sprocket are JC higgins

Murray built Higgins. Truss rods original to bike, fork from something else. Chainguard is Murray as well but from a later bike. To date the frame more accurately, there is an MOS-( ) with a letter code to be inserted there above the serial number. Looks late 50s.
