This bike with these bars?

Ok, so this bike (now with a 70s shade of green padded seat and Army bag panniers on a seatpost rack)

with these bars with the stock grips and levers added to the straight part of the bar.

and maybe some green brick pattern tires when these one wear out?

Lame or cool? I don't think a bike could have only one anozided part.
 
The new bars might fit in your old stem but nothing else will fit - not your brakes, not your shifters. Even getting the grips on will be a struggle.

Just get some green bolt on bar-ends for the bars you've got.
 
I think I'm going to pass. I'll get some parts that I actually need for other bikes instead. Maybe I'll put some bars with a slight rise on that I have here.

I like the silver on the bike. I've often thought it would look nice in white.
