This is a 1940 J.C.Higgins I built for my wife.
I was able to use the original wheels, Skip tooth chain and crank, Chain guard, Fenders, Handle bars and stem. The fenders needed a lot of pounding to get all the dents out and all the chrome was shot so I had to paint everything. I used a pair of finger nail clippers to cut all the "...." of the white tires
after I took the pics. I couldn't take the fuzzy look LOL.
This is one of two bikes I found on Craig's list for $25!! The other is a 55 Rollfast. The last pic is the night they came home.
