My trip to the hardware store for some longer carriage bolts also yielded some nut and bolt covers from the plumbing aisle. A little black paint and they'll be perfect.

It's coming together Troy! You might want to keep those bars long to help control that pendulum you call a fork !
 
Shakedown ride today. Realized I need a country block to turn this thing around. And yes, it's somewhat of a pedal scraper. :)
Just a few more finishing touches, mainly cabling up the brakes, popping on the handgrips and touching up some paint chips from errant tools during assembly... Doh!!

Your ride is quite awesome as well Jaypem. And you have that right with all the custom work in this buildoff. The things that folks come up with from what other people cast off as junk is just amazing.. the core principle of "rat rodding" on full display.
