What I know for sure is that I have been called in as the "pre-war" specialist, cause none of us on the inside really know anything about the tank cycles but me, to a estate of a mutual friend/cycling buddy of mine. The estates administrator has dealt with the cars the bicycles are in 4 weeks.
I really don't know what to expect for sure.. still I was thinking of taking gloves, 1K in cash, and my truck. Just in case. Perhaps 2K.

Anyone been involved is anything like this before? Sound off!

Should be interesting and photographs will follow. I was thinking their will be a lot of "as found" cycles that were never given rebuilds.

Let me take a guess ~ Lee Hartung collection put on by RM Auctions November 3 - 5, just outside of Chicago. If this is the one it is the worst kept secret. If it isn't I would love for you to take some pictures so we can all be jealous. :D

We are south and the admin is really not into auctions, he is one of the family .. he really just wants our local cycle community that his uncle loved so much to have this stuff. That is what the guy said. Still unsure of the numbers but one guy said "Paramount"

Could be some really ratty tin..... hope

This may be what kind of stuff we will see. Got this from one of the guys on the inside and he said no charge... course I know him.
Any way here's the bike. Original Sears Crusader tires, one holding air, and the twin headlights work.
