Okay, this is my first bike build. Bought the 80's Murray "Westport" at a garage sale with a 24" women's cruiser, both for $8. Refurbed it, and it was rideable in about 30 min. I had all of my mountain bike friends collect beer caps for the project, grabbed a few parts off the girls bike, and here it is. The chainguard is fabbed from the front fender of the 24" bike. I actually built an oak trailer to go with the bike, and will post pics when I take some. The bike rides well, but I have to find a better seat. I want an old Brooks, but can't lay down the cash when the $11 Electra grips are worth more than the rest of the bike.
