After seeing Ceebee's Colson with the awesome house paint patina, I was motivated to get after some fenders I had hanging on the wall.

Sprayed some stripper on the hefty coat of house paint green.

Started scrubbing with some sand paper, scotch brite pads, and finished with 0000 steel wool.

Now I need to find a frame to match these fenders!

I was a little nervous clicking on this thread thinking "What have I done now?!?!":21:
I can't take credit for the look of that Colson, it is just how I got it (plus a little Boiled Linseed Oil).
I'm sure whatever you put those fenders on will look awesome.
Haha, sorry for the scare!
Yep, Im a fan of boiled linseed oil too. I'll wipe some over these fenders as soon as some rust starts to show up on the bare metal areas. Cheers!
