Dove into some albums from my great grandmother's childhood and found these.

From what I can tell, the first picture is of my great great grandfather and his Colson Snap Tank. The kids are on three Elgin's. The child's bike is unknown, and the last are head shots of my grandparents riding a Colson rear steer tandem advertisement she put into her scrapbook.

What a cool turkey day find!
Now you need to find a Colson Snap Tank and a cool hat to recreate that photo.
 
Cool. Many of our old Family photos are about gone but I did find one of my Dad with his old bike a few months back.
 
Were you into Colsons before you found the family connection ? Great photos.
Correct. I had no idea that was the ancestors choice of bike as well. I found several more of them with several different model Colsons.
