They closed the school district that my neighborhood schools are in for 7 days starting Monday.

I heard about that on CNN radio yesterday. They mentioned the Ft Worth schools being closed every 15 minutes. Some people were speculating that it would have the reverse effect than they hoped. I guess the intention is to get the kids out of the confined classrooms and safe in their homes. But good luck keeping kids at home on a nice spring week with no school. It's like a bonus spring break

Yeah they closed our school district last week for a few days. My kids stayed home and played with all their friends from school anyway so whatts the diff? How come they never close work????
