the Sugino came that way...it was in with a BUNCH of parts I purchased...at the time i could only find 1 of the crank-arms (i have located the other)...it was for a 10 or 12-speed (two sprockets), but I took the smaller one off.

I want to do a 3-speed rear hub (SA) and use my Robin Hood frame (the red almost matches the red in the Xtracycle...yes, i'm a dork!)...I don't the money right now for the correct-spaced 3-speed.
