I've wanted some sort of load carrying bike for a while now, so decided to commit to building something. Started by chopping up my old 'Easter stretch' build as a donor

Used an old mtb fork and bmx fork with a little machining to get a nice long steer tube length

Used an old seat tube for the new steer tube, correct internal sizing for the bearing cups.

Mocked up the frame peices.

Set the steer tube at 70 degrees. practical, but didn't have the 'look' that I wanted.
So I cut it off, curved the down tube, then attached at a much slacker angle. Looks way better I think.

Added some rails for the cargo area.

Top tube I am unsure of at this point.
I think I will add a gentle curve over the length?
Tapped in place here for a visual

Drive train will be 3 speed shimano coaster hub on the rear, with a 20x3" tyre on the front to carry the load.

You make this look so easy.......long, lean, and utilitarian. Luv that gold high flange hub (and 3sp rear one also).

Thank you both for the kind words
