What is this thing? On the local CL (obviously) and am curious about it. I know someone will know what it is on here. Thanks in advance!

I don't think it's a Murray - probably an AMF, so not a spaceliner at all. I haven't seen a chrome AMF before though.

Edit:

Maybe it's a Huffy? I thought AMF made a frame like this, but now I'm not so sure.

I have a similar bike, Mine is a Montgomery Ward, It has the same split top bars, but does not have the fancy bullet caps at the end...

Huffy Silver Jet or a Monark Silver King. The bike was built to compete with the Spaceliner. The Silver Jets are much more difficult to find though.

However, AMF and Ross did try to build some chrome Space-Race era bikes, but they never took off real well.
