Here's some shots I took while doing my morning 14 mile ride. I usually do two different routes, this is the pretty one 
Early morning sunrise over the Bayou.
My street. Nothing fancy here.
Take a few turns, and you stumble upon miles and miles of sugar cane fields.
Yes, sugar cane. Looks like it's almost time to harvest. That means there'll be tractors clogging up the roads, and mud everywhere.
My peaceful halfway spot. Cypress trees, and a pond with a fountain. This is the entranceway to a Country Club (that I am not a member of)
Across the street is an old plantation home surrounded by Majestic Oaks. There's a half dozen of these along this road, they're very beautiful.
Beautiful old Oak trees.
Another gorgeous old Antebellum plantation home. They shoot movies here all the time.
If you guys want to see my "regular" route through the swamp, I can post pics of that too (complete with Alligator roadkill! LOL)
