I have a lay back post I want to use. The post is 22.2 (7/8). My frame uses a 25.4. These bushings arent cheap in my sizes.

Any off the shelf ideas from a hardware store? Thought about a handlebar clamp bushing. Think I have one of those.

old aluminum dropp bars for speed bike have about 1/16 thickness , i used a piece of that in the past for handlebar sleave , should also work for a seat post , just cut a lenght of straight part , and cut it lenght wise also to make it a sleave/spacer .. when the gap is smaller , a piece of cola can does the trick also :wink1:
aluminum is best imo , easer to fit and compress well for a strong clamping ..
but basically any sheet metal the right thickness that you curv to fit should do the trick
