WOW! There are so many spaceliner junkies out there, I'd guess the paperwork adds a ton of value. Clean bike!!

You have the 7 style tank with lenses and even the rack lenses. I'd say in that condition, with that tank, you did well at $100. What would drive the price up more is if it was chrome and had the springer front end. Very cool bike and with the papers I'd say $150-$200 depending on where you live? Around me $100 would probably be tops in eastern PA, but out in Cali would drive up the price. Nice find!

You have the # 46315, which is the Sears catalog #, minus a couple letters. The closest I could find was a '65, 46313. Yours is close, maybe a year or two different. Sears dropped the JC Higgins name from their sporting goods (including bikes) line after 1963, and introduced the Spaceliner model at the end of that year. -Adam

Nice 7bar. Looks to have just the single switch and not the coveted dual switch dash panel (light and horn).
I believe the 7bars were replacing the straight tanks in 66 through 68. As per BrentP's "Spaceliner reference" thread on the Cabe.

Woman's / Girl's
46313 (1964-68, 26", Straight Tank, Women's, single speed, 1 round reflector 66-68)
46353 (1964-68, 26", Straight Tank, Women's, 2-speed 1 round reflector 66-68)
46333 (1964-68, 24", Straight Tank, Girl's, single speed 1 round reflector 66-68)
46315 (1966-68, 26", 7-Tank, Women's, single speed, tear-drop reflector)
46355 (1966-68, 26", 7-Tank, Women's, 2-speed, tear-drop reflector)
46335 (1966-68, 24", 7-Tank, Girl's, single speed, tear-drop reflector)

Because it is the single switch and it is a girls model the retail value should be around $150....collectors / flippers would probably go $100.
You did good though at the $100 price I think.

I'm not anywhere near your massive brain retention on these middleweights....you will always be the Sensie!!
I have been collecting these and the various other takeoffs such as the Astro Flites, Strato Flyers, Flightliners, and such for some time but only because of your wealth of knowledge and help.
I will say that BrentP's "Ultimate Spaceliner" cataloging thread on the Cabe has been a big help with the Spaceliners....those serial numbers and catalog numbers still get me confused until his posting.
And when it comes to the Western Flyer serial numbers I still am lost. I have to use the catalog pictures to help identify these years and some models.
I think it is cool to have all the original paperwork on this bike and that alone should increase the value a bit, maybe as much as $50 to the collector, not so much for the person that wants a cool looking rider.

I will say that the "Coveted Spaceliner Deluxe" will have the dual switch and the rear taillight assembly, this model would also have a 2 speed kick back rear hub.

Also I believe the 66-68 modeled Spaceliners with the Plastic 7 bar tank (which always get cracked because they were plastic not the preceding years metal tanks) and never had the springer front forks during these years....I think.
The dual switched girls models with the complete rear taillight assy would be valued at about $250-$300 if in great shape....nice conditioned seat, tank, rack, pedals etc..and a fair price for one would be $150-$200....unlike the boys model that would bring a fair price of $250-$350, based on condition.
