I still rescue them anyway, I've only had one turn out to be stolen and the guy was so happy to get it back and find it in one piece the reward for it's return outweighed the scrapyard's price. Not near what it was worth but I still made a profit and helped a guy get his bike back from a certain death. He was appalled at the thought someone would scrap his bike. I buy most of my bikes from the scrapyard, junkers, or trash finds and I sell 50-100 a year. I love this hobby.
