Schwinn Typhoon Serial #???

I bought a Schwinn Typhoon off of Craigslist for $80 and was told it was a 1964 model. A few days later I'm looking at the serial number and can't seem to find it online. I looked pretty close and am 99% sure I'm not reading it incorrectly.

I would attach a pic but I'm posting this from my phone.

The serial number is M453425 and then on the other side of the frame is the number 1202. This is my first vintage bike, so excuse me if I am unaware of something obvious here

Schwinn serial numbers are a funny lot. A Typhoon with a serial that starts M4 is a '64 bike, no doubt about it. Your bike was born on Dec. 3, 1964. The 1202 is just a part or assembly number. Gary
