i saw it at the barn finds topic its pretty sweet im also missing the delta headlight mine is rusted bad

That Mark II is a FANTASTIC find! I'm drooling. :) It is a very complete, original nice bike and will clean up well! There was no 1956 Jaguar and Mark II's were '57-'58 only. Yours has a date of 9/18/57 and it is indeed a late 1957 as the seat and tank changed for 1958, as well as an almost un-noticeable change in the frame. Great score with the original tail light still on it. The paint is nice and the decals will clean up much whiter also. I love the Mark II's!

The back light is rusted and the screws are rusted bad and
It don't want to come off I'm just gonna leave it there like that hopefully this
Weekend illl clean up the tank and the rest of the parts

Just this one. These photos show the bike in original condition when I got it. Since then, the fenders have been re-rolled and polished, and headlamp/ tail lamp and horn have been added. The tank needs to be refinished still.

I don't see the add on guards very often that came on your bike.
