Schwinn Headset Question

Hey Guys,

I'm working on a old Schwinn Ace(41 I think). The bike was very rusty and I'm really only reusing the frame. I have a reproduction springer fork that I plan on putting on and I'm not sure if I need to look for anything special regarding a new headset. The fork says 27mm race so I think that I just need a 1" threaded headset with a 27mm race, is this correct or do I need something different? Thanks for the help!

Try the link below, usually the bmx/opc size for these old frames come with a 26.4 race, but you can get some to mix and match online.

I do not know, but trying to help. Any Schwinn guys know if this is it ? " Headset and bearings fit Schwinn head tubes with 32.5 mm inner diameter of frame head tube. (measure yours ), 22.2 head nut for use with 22.2mm stem, 27mm crown diameter."For use with 1" threaded fork" I see these offered at custommotoredbicycles.com
