Hello to everyone. I have been following this site for a month or so now. I originally found it looking for information about motorized bikes. I love to take old things and make them usable again. Create something from nothing. I was in need of a project to take my mind off of my job. I am a banker, and in this economy there is plenty of stress.
So I started looking for bikes and found this one local. I thought it was yard art for several months, but one day at lunch it was laid over in the yard so I stopped and asked about it, and bought it for $10. As best I can tell, it is a 1963 JC Penney Foremost made by Murray. It is very rusty, but I took it apart, regreased everything, replaced one tube, and it is a rider! I will post pics when I figure out how.
