RatRodBike Fashion: Belt

Made a belt, using nothing but old bike parts.

-Trim the sidewalls off an old tire (better if it's not too knobby)
-Fold one end of the cut-down tire tread over two sprockets (or pieces of sprockets)
-Punch holes, and secure with a 1/8" master link.
-Make a loop of a few links of chain, and secure with another master link
-Trim belt to length.

So, whaddya think?

I rode 20 miles wearing this belt yesterday, and it didn't gouge my belly. If the sprocket were much larger than a 16T, I might have needed to dull the top & bottom teeth a bit. I'm good with a touch of Road Warrior in my day-to-day life.
