This is my first post other than intro and the first build that I have put up. This frame is from the Toys R Us lime green West Coast Chopper bike. I got it on C/L for $ 50, which I thought wasn't bad considering the 2 24"x3 Kenda Flames that came on it. The wheels were crap china junk and the handlebars, seat, and riding position made it one of the worst riding bikes for me. However, I liked the frame and so I stripped it and painted it flat black, left the chainguard and fenders off, replaced the seat and handlebars. I have been riding it like this for a month or so and now I am ready to do it again after collecting some more parts. I've had inspiration from some other builds and so I am going to paint it flat/primer red with flat black wheels. I'll update as I get it together

Well got it painted and removed a piece from the back that I just did not like hanging down.

Wow, that looks good. That's a pretty wild frame and it works well with the primer treatment. 8) Some turned down flattracker bars and a simple saddle an' she'd look pretty swift I reckon

Here's what mine looked like a couple months ago. I changed the seat and bars but I don't have a newer picture.
