Raleigh Ranger MX - 1977 off road 3 speed ?

a strange beast this one. It looks like a Raleigh folder frame but doesn't fold,1977 - 3 speed SA hub, hand brakes, FAT 20" off road tires, moto style bars and mud flap fenders. Made in Nottingham England

Looks like a "pay back" bike! I can imagine a frustrated teenage boy modding this one in an attempt to coerce mom into buying him a bike. Gee ma I cant wait to see how it rips down a trail! I wonder how much air I can grab on it! Mom would be like :shock: Lets go see about your own bike. :lol: Later & PEACE!!!!

I'm digging the old school style mud flaps..Reminds me of some of my old Motocross fenders..fro Preston petty......
