Price check - western flyer repop

Wondering what these are worth? Ones for sale locally for $700 with its cert of authenticity etc

There has been one for sale here in SoCal for $300 for months with no takers.
It's a decent bike, but it's one of the less favorable reproductions.
Some aspects of it are cheap, like the extra thick decals with no clear coat and the non-locking springer forks.
I used to have one, but sold it and got a Columbia RX-5 instead.

Yikes! $700 is WAY too much for one of those. I passed one up for $200, cause it was pretty cheaply built. Poor paint job, terrible chrome, and feels flimsy. Those seats are nice, though. Heck, for not more than that asking price, you can find a good rider condition 95 Phantom, which is a MUCH better value, and the best built repop, ever.
