Finally got around to putting together the "other" bike today (story here... viewtopic.php?f=1&t=52040 )
Like every Huffy bike I've ever come across, they have been trying to save the world from the grease shortage...and therefore did not use any grease at all on any of the bearings.
However, my noble assistants and I greased and lubed all bearings...here they are on a coffee break (Union, whatja gonna do?)
We removed all of the cheesy factory stickers from the bike and replaced them with much cooler cheesy stickers!
Quality Control doing a check...fortunately it passed
Then put the bike up for sale on Facebook and Craigslist...sold in 15 minutes.
Good because the money made here is going for a new fancy-smansy powder coat for Black Betty...I'm thinking red 8)
