Paint for 'bare metal' restore

Hey brethren,
I'm in the process of restoring a set of vintage Wald pedals and was looking for a paint that would look like bare galvanized metal.
I don't want a 'hammered' finish, just a low luster, medium colored silver.

Any suggestions!

I was thinking wheel paint too... There is one you used to be able to get over here called "Steel Wheels" would be perfect for that...

Eastwood has metal plating kits that work really well on small parts like that. It's pretty simple and works off of batteries.

the trick that i do is use plain old aluminum spray paint then spray clear over it! it resembles an aluminum intake manifold when done! very cool and very inexpensive!
