This was a seventy something schwinn suburban that I dug out of the boneyard at my lbs.
It was that old suburban brown and needed some tender lovin care.
I changed it to a single speed and went with a coaster brake wheel (27") to keep the look simple.
Found some 27" whitewall tires online. Recovered a gel seat with white vinyl.
Painted some bear trap peddles and added some oury mtb grips.
My daughter picked out the paint (Good job Aly!).
I think it turned out nice. :D

I've been riding it quite a bit so the white walls and grips need a cleaning, I'll get to it.

Here's my diamondback della cruz my wife bought me for my b-day a few years back. Fun bike too.

That Schwinn is really sweet....love the color combo and the white walls.

What brand and color of paint is that?

Cool Boxer too...I've owned a couple of them in the past...awesome dogs.

Understated elegance.

Nice job on the Burban. I like when people take over looked bikes and make them into something good again.
