I Picked up this old Hawthorne from a friend that collects old bikes as well, He had this for sale over at the cabe but didnt get any offers so he let me take it pretty cheap 8)
I have a set of fenders, rear rack, chainguard that I bought from A member here that will fit this frame

Nice find - any find with a tank on it is great! Is that a CWC frame - that is a CWC Flying Heart Chain Ring and I know CWC made frames with straight chain stays as well as the up curved types? Looks like a fine start to a new build - Have Fun! Robert

I think thats an AMF frame made after they bought out cwc. I've never seen that chainring in a standard pitch before. Nice project!

I had a 1954 Cleveland Welding made Western Flyer with the flying heart sprocket in the standard (non skiptooth) pitch
