J.C. Higgins I picked up yesterday, not sure if I'm going to take her apart just yet, I kinda like her looks. I've got some huge bull horn bars that might look nice, and I'm definitely going to take a wire wheel to the now padless metal seat and throw a clear coat on it. And yes, maybe a springer up front.

Nice bike. I think it would look good if you just clean up the frame, armour-all the tires and your seat idea. Maybe grind some of the chrome/rust off the handlebars and paint them black or red primer.
