Old Hawthorne 3-speed!

This bike was a gift from a local bike shop in town, not sure about the year yet...











Me hauling it with the steed and a chance encounter with it's double, same year, size, and color...

I think the hawthorne is the mid 60s if I remember right.

That Hawthorne is Snyder built, Rollfast. I'd say 60's also, going by the sprocket and chain guard.

The earliest I've seen that guard is in the '63 Montgomery Ward's catalog. -Adam
